It is the responsibility of the permit holder to have a valid permit, as required by this chapter, <br />available for inspection on the site by the Ramsey Police Department, Fire Department and/or DNR <br />Forest Officer. <br /> <br />The permit holder is responsible for compliance and implementation of all general conditions, <br />special conditions and the burn event safety plan as established in the permit issued. <br /> <br />110.208 REVOCATION OF PERMIT <br /> <br />This permit is subject to revocation at the discretion of MPCA Director, a Department of Natural <br />Resources Forest Officer, the City of Ramsey Fire Chief or the City of Ramsey Fire Warden. <br />Reasons for revocation include but are not limited to: A fire hazard existing or developing during <br />the course of the burn or any of the conditions of the permit being violated during the course of the <br />burn. <br /> <br />110.209 DENIAL <br /> <br />If established criteria for the issuance of an open-burn disposal permit are not met or during review <br />of said application, special conditions are identified or if a reasonable, practical alternative method <br />of disposal of the material exists, or if a burn event safety plan cannot be drafted to the satisfaction <br />of the Fire Warden and the Fire Chief, then the City may deny the application. <br /> <br />110.210 APPEAL OF DENIAL OR REVOCATION <br /> <br />The holder of a revoked permit may appeal said revocation to the City Council. The City Council <br />shall make a determination to maintain the revocation or direct for reinstatement of existing permit <br />or reapplication for permit. <br /> <br />110.211 RECREATIONAL FIRE HOURS <br /> <br />Recreational Fires shall be permitted only between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday <br />through Friday (weekdays) and 5:00 p.m. Friday to 6:00 a.m. on the following Monday <br />(weekends). <br /> <br />Notwithstanding the above, Recreational Fires will be permitted on State of Minnesota legal <br />holidays. Commencing at 5:00 p.m. the day preceding the holiday to 6:00 a.m. on the day <br />subsequent to the holiday. <br /> <br />110.212 <br /> <br />NO RECREATIONAL FIRES DURING BURNING BAN OR AIR <br />QUALITY ALERT <br /> <br />No Recreational Fire will be permitted when the City or DNR has officially declared a burning ban <br />due to potential hazardous fire conditions or when the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (PCA) <br />has declared an Air Quality Alert. Burning ban and air quality information is available from the <br />Fire Department's 24-hour information number. <br /> <br />110.213 RULES ADOPTED BY REFERENCE <br /> <br />Minnesota Rules part 7005.0700 to 7005.0820 "Open-Burning" are hereby adopted by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
