Upon learning of the need for a committee, I contacted the most ]auov]ledgeable and experienced horse people in the city, and all four others have agreed to participate in organizing and executing a well run program. I have previously worked at Anoka County Social Service, and have also been organizational director£'for 'the home delivered meals program at ~erc~ Hospital. I~y husband and I hs~e been organizational leaders for the Anoka County 4H program, C.C.D. religous instructors for the St. Stephens parish in Anoka, and have u~orked on various committees such as the Ramsey Halloween Committee. ~'~'e have been members of the Ramsey Rangers Saddle Club for several yenrs. ~e have both held e~:ecutive po~_tions ~,~m,h the c~ub for several consec- utive years. We have oumed ~ud been involved ~'ith horses on all levels and aspects for 25 years. Our home, ~eadow Creek Ranch, is and always has been the contact place for people interested in horses. ~;e are the contac$ listing for civic organizations, ~nd are always available for the many people that personally stop by or telephone for infor- mation regarding -any aspect of horse ov,~ership. Several times, the offices for the city of R~msey, have called us for assistance pertaining to livestock problems. V!e have rounded up loose livestock (horses & cattle), have brought them to oar place, then located the o~a~ers and helped insure their safe return home.(We have the facilities for imoounded animals.)
