I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #90-09- RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, MATT BULLOCK CONTRACTING CO., INC. (PROJECT 90-26 CENTRAL PARK BALLFIELD IMPROVEMENTS) WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey entered into an agreement with Matt Bullock Contracting Co., Inc. for construction of the Central Park Softball Ballfields, WHEREAS, the original contract amount is $72,508.92. WHEREAS, Resolution 90-07-218 authorized preparation of plans and specifications and an expenditure for the overall project of up to $100,000.00. WHEREAS, the city Council has determined that extension of the irrigation system is desireable in Central Park and that the system should be installed in the new soccer field area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes Change Order No. 1 for the Central Park Ballfields in the amount of $8,578.00 for additional irrigation. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or.City Administrator to execute Change Order No. 1. 3) That the total amount of the contract shall be increased by $8,578.00 with this change order to a total of $81,086.92 and the contract period should be extended 15 days. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of September, 1990.
