CASE <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZE PREPARATION OF <br /> PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 90-28 <br /> (CHESTNUT POND ADDITION) <br />By= Pete Raatikka, Consulting Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On August 14, 1990 City Council adopted resolution 90-08-256 <br />receiving the feasibility report and calling for a public hearing <br />on Improvement Project 90-28. The hearing is scheduled to be held <br />at 7:00 p.m., October 9, 1990. <br /> <br />The plat of Chestnut Pond Addition received preliminary approval <br />on August 14, 1990 and is being platted to provide access from <br />Industry Avenue to the plats of Cedar Hills and Chestnut Hills. <br />Plans for the sewer and water laterals and street construction for <br />Windemere Woods, Cedar Hills and Chestnut Hills have been ordered. <br />It is proposed to include the Chestnut Pond project with the <br />lateral project for Windemere Woods, Cedar Hills and Chestnut <br />Hills. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a resolution ordering plans and specifications for <br />construction of utilities and streets in the Chestnut Pond <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends adoption of the proposed resolution ordering plans <br />and specifications for Improvement Project 90-28. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution 90-10- authorizing the Consulting <br />Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Improvement <br />Project 90-28 (Chestnut Pond Addition). <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer X <br />Community Development Dir. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Supt. <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
