HICKS AND MICHELLE M. <br />HICKS. <br /> <br /> W~ERE~S, the City has authorized acquisition of right-of-way <br />for the construction of the extension of 153rd Avenue N.W.; and <br /> <br /> W~ER~S, the city has retained the services of William A. <br />Schwab as an appraiser, and Mr. Schwab has completed his appraisal <br />work and initially appraised the damages to the Hicks property at <br />$250.00; and <br /> <br />W~EREAS, the Hicks' PIN is 22-32-25-13-0012; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed Mr. Schwab's initial <br />appraisal as to Project Parcel No. 14, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Hicks, <br />and has concluded that an increase to $660.00 for payment of this <br />parcel will be in the City's best interests in order to avoid <br />further litigation, appraiser fees and condemnation commissioner's <br />fees. <br /> <br /> NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City's Finance Officer is directed to issue a <br />check to Vincent G. Hicks and Michelle M. Hicks in the amount of <br />$660.00 for damages as a result of the City taking Project Parcel <br />No. 14 from Mr. and Mrs. Hicks. <br /> <br /> 2. That the City Attorney is directed to deliver said check <br />upon receipt by him of the proper title transfer documents from the <br />Mr. and Mrs. Hicks. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted agginst the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> <br />
