Type and Produce Annual Financial It is the process of the CAFR preparation that teaches and trains City staff as to what information is needed, why it is needed and when it is needed. This same process and understanding is required for budget preparation and other reporting requirements that must be fulfilled by City Staff. With a current financial system and stable staffing in the Finance Office, preparation of the CAFR should be able to be accomplished in a timely manner. As to the typing of the report, the problems were incurred in the formatting not the actual typing. The report is now up on the City's network, the formatting problems have been mastered, and 1990's report should not present the difficulties of 1989.
