31. That both furnaces are equipped with afterburners and that the height of smokestacks would be 28' above ground. 32. That no emissions testing documentation for this facility has been received by the city. 33. That the Applicant has stated that the intent is to discontinue use of off spec oil and fuel the furnaces with methane. The furnaces, however, will be equipped to burn oil or methane and oil or natural gas will be used as fuel at times. 34. That the Applicant has stated that recyclable aluminum cans, brass, copper and miscellaneous non-ferrous metals would be received in Area A and then moved to Area B for temporary storage until a full load is comprised for transport. 35. That the Applicant has stated that cooled steel from the aluminum processing operation will be stored in a trailer at the loading docks or in the northwest corner of the site until a quantity sufficient for shipment has accumulated. 37. That the Applicant has indicated that engine and transmission disassembly will occur within the existing wood frame building. The transmission oil from disassembly operations would be collected in a holding tank and would be hauled off site by an authorized waste oil recycler. 37a. That the Applicant has stated that transmission oil from the disassembly operation is currently burned in the melt furnace at the existing site under the Applicant's current license at that site. 38. That the Applicant has indicated that a secured outside storage area would be constructed abutting the south side of the existing wood frame building in Area B. 39. That the Applicant has stated that a sign and gate would be installed near the driveway entry indicating the hours of operation and the materials accepted. The gate would prohibit entry after hours to minimize drop off activity of waste materials. 40. That the hours of operation for the melt operation are anticipated by the Applicant to be 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 41. That the Applicant has stated that six employees will work at the site.
