6. Each of the parties will maintain insurance policies covering their <br />own equipment and personnel while engaged in furnishing assistance to <br />the other pursuant to this agreement, and each will maintain public, <br />general liability insurance protecting itself against claims of third parties. <br /> <br />7. Neither party to this agreement nor any officer or employee of either <br />party shall be liable to the other party or to any person on account of failure <br />of either party to furnish its fire-fighting equipment or personnel in <br />response to a call for assistance from the other municipality, and each <br />party shall indemnify and hold the other harmless from any claims <br />because of such failure to furnish equipment or personnel upon a call from <br />the other. <br /> <br />8. No liability shall be incurred by a party for damage to, or destruction <br />of, fire-fighting equipment of the other party while giving such assistance <br />under this agreement unless such damage or destruction shall be caused <br />by the negligent or malicious conduct of any officer or employee of a party. <br /> <br />9. Either party hereto may terminate this agreement by thirty days <br />notice in writing to the other. <br /> <br />10.
