As Mr. Otto points out, the Council has had an <br />informal committee to review landfill related issues. This committee <br />has been comprised of: <br /> <br />the Mayor <br />one Councilmember <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Mr. Otto of Hakanson Ande'rson Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />As the Metropolitan Council public hearings for the Draft $o£id Waste <br />Management Development Guide/Policy Plan will be held on <br />January 16 and 17, with written comments due on or before <br />February 1, 1991, the City's ability to respond is a time sensitive <br />issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto is asking: <br /> <br />Does the Council wish to have Hakanson Anderson Associates, <br />Inc. continue working on the solid waste issues relating to <br />Site P? <br /> <br />Does the Council wish to appoint a committee to work with <br />landfill related issues? <br /> <br />For information purposes, Steven Jankowski, City Engineer, is <br />planning to attend the Metropolitan Council public hearings on <br />January 16 and 17. <br /> <br /> <br />
