Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION /191-01- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE RADIOS FOR <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Public Works Department will function more <br />efficiently by having radio communication between all vehicles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has budgeted $2,000.00 for the purchase of mobile radios for the <br />Public Works Department in the 1991 budget year and sufficient monies remain in 'the 1990 <br />Engineering Department start-up fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby authorize the pumhase of mobile <br />radios in the amount of $2,000.00 for the Public Works Department from the Public Works <br />Outlay Funds. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby authorize the purchase of a mobile <br />radio for the Engineering Department in the amount of $795.00 from the 1990 EngSneering <br />Department Outlay Funds. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of January, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
