REVISED <br /> <br />CASE #11 <br /> <br /> REPORT FROM NEGOTIATING COMMITTEE <br />BY: Kay McAIoney, Personnel Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Negotiating Committee consisting of Councilmembers <br />Beyer, Hardin and Peterson met with the AFSCME bargaining unit <br />representatives on February 19, 1991 and have reached a tentative agreement. <br />The AFSCME bargaining unit will hold a membership vote on the contract on <br />March 4, 1991. The City ct Ramsey Negotiating Committee met with LELS <br />bargaining unit representatives on February 22, 1991 and have reached a <br />tentative agreement, The LELS membership will vote on the tentative <br />agreement in early March 1991. <br /> <br />Attached is a copy of the summary of proposals tentatively agreed to between <br />the City of Ramsey Negotiating Committee and the AFSCME and LELS bargaining <br />units. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept the tentative agreement <br />between the AFSCME and LELS bargaining units and the City of Ramsey <br />Negotiating Committee for the one year 1991 contract as detailed in the <br />attached summary of proposals. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/not approve the tentative agreement between the AFSCME <br />and LELS bargaining units and the City of Ramsey tor the one year 1991 <br />contract. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Acting City Administrator <br />Negotiating Committee <br />Personnel Coordinator <br /> <br />CC; 2/27/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
