I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATION PERIOD FOR PATROL OFFICER <br />TIMOTHY DWYER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Timothy Dwyer began employment at the City of Ramsey on March 1, <br />990, as Patrol Officer in the Police Department with an annual salary of $25,995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the LELS bargaining unit, of which Mr. Dwyer is a member, settled the <br />1989 and 1990 contract in June 1990, increasing Mr. Dwyer's annual salary to $27,843; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the LELS bargaining unit contract, the probationary period for <br />new employees is one year and the probationary period for Mr. Dwyer expired on March 1, 1991; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Police Chief Michael Auspos, Mr. Dwyer's immediate supervisor, has <br />given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Mr. Dwyer and recommended retaining <br />Mr. Dwyer at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the probationary period has been successfully completed and per the terms <br />of the LELS contract, Mr. Dwyer's salary should increase to 86% of Top Patrol, $30,312 effective <br />March 1, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee at their February 27, 1991 meeting agreed with the <br />recommendation of staff to retain Mr. Dwyer as a regular full-time employee and increase Mr. <br />Dwyer's annual salary to $30,312 effective March 1, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council at their February 27, 1991 meeting confirmed the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Timothy Dwyer <br />and change in status to full-time regular and increase Mr. Dwyer's annual salary to $30,312 <br />effective March 1, 1991. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirmed the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Timothy Dwyer, change in status <br />to full-time regular employee and increase Mr. Dwyer~s annual salary to $30,312 effective <br />March 1, 1991. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day of March, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
