Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTIO ~N BUNTJE RESOLUTION #91-03- OFFERING DATA ENTRY CLERK POSITION TO KAREN WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey posted and advertised the position of Data Entry Clerk in the Finance Department in salary grade 1; and WHEREAS, forty-five (45) City of Ramsey applications were received for the position; and WHEREAS, three (3) applicants were interviewed for the position by Personnel Coordinator Kay McAloney, Senior Accountant Mary Gomez and Acting City Administrator and Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling; and WHEREAS, one (1) finalist was interviewed by the Personnel Committee on February 27, 1991; and WHEREAS, City Staff recommended that the position of Data Entry Clerk be offered to Karen Buntje at the six-month rate of salary grade 1, $14,557 annually, increase to the 95% rate upon successful completion of the six-month probationary period and increase to the salary grade minimum upon completion of one-year; and WHEREAS, Staff further recommended that Ms. Buntje begin employment on February 28, 1991; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee agreed with the recommendation of Staff; and WHEREAS, Ramsey City Council approved the recommendation of the Personnel Committee at the regular City Council meeting on February 27, 1991; and WHEREAS, Ms. Buntje was offered and accepted the position of Data Entry Clerk and began employment with the City of Ramsey on February 28, 1991. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopt resolution g91-03- confirming the offer and acceptance to Karen Buntje for the position of Data Entry Clerk in salary grade 1 to begin employment February 28, 1991 at $14,557 annually. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of March, 1991.
