The treatment facility will be operated in accordance to the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and State Disposal System (SDS) Permit number MN 0060259 issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). A copy of the NPDES/SDS Permit is included in Attachment 1. Present Zoning District The barrier wells, 3 recovery wells, treatment facility and the majority of the underground collection system will be constructed on landfill property. Five of the recovery wells and the portion of the collection system associated with these wells will be constructed east of landfill property in an area zoned residential. The discharge pipe will be constructed in an area zoned industrial. site Map A site map and treatment facility layout is included in Attachment 2. Drainage Plan Drainage on the site will not be adversely effected. The area around the treatment facility will be sloped to provide drainage away from the facility. Only a small area will be paved over (40 ft. x 40 ft.). Because of the sandy soils in the area, runoff from the paved area will easily infiltrate into the ground. 9. Access to Site Access to the treatment facility will be by a private road located entirely on landfill property. The access road will i)e located either as shown on the site map or from Waltec, Inc.'s driveway, north to the treatment facility. Garbage Container Location There will be no garbage containers associated with the pump- out and treatment facility.
