Councilmember inn'oduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING USE OF ADDITIONAL 1991 COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS IN THE YEAR 1991. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County is responsible for the allocation and timely expenditure of <br /> . ~,unity Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development;and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey receives an annual allocation of CDBG funds from <br />Anoka Count5,; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Wednesday, <br />February 27, 1991 regarding the use of 1990 and 199] CDBG allocations and authorized the <br />following designations: <br /> <br />Project .Amount <br /> <br />Count5, Housing Rehabilitation Program <br />Public Service Agencies <br />Senior Center Carpet <br /> <br />$35,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$ 4,770 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been notified by Anoka County that the final CDBG <br />budget has been established and there is an additional $2,000 allocated to the City of Ramsey <br />beyond that which was allocated on February 27, 1991. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as'follows: <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey hereby applies to Anoka County for $2,000 in uncommitted 1991 <br />Community Development Block Grant allocations to be used in the County Housing <br />Rehabilitation Program. <br /> <br />2) That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Anoka County CDBG Administrator. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dui3, seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />~mct the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of May, 1991. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
