CASE #~} <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you recall, on February 27, 1991, the City Council adopted a resolution designating the use of <br />1990/1991 CDBG funds. The designation was as follows: <br /> <br />$35,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$ 4,770 <br /> <br />County Housing Rehabilitation Program <br />Public Service Agencies <br />Senior Center Carpet <br /> <br />Since the adoption of that resolution, I have been informed by JoAnn Wright, County <br />Administrator for CDBG Program, that final budgets have been established for the 1991 CDBG <br />allocations and Ramsey has an additional $2,000 for expenditure. She has requested that Ramsey <br />take the necessary action to allocate the additional $2,000.00. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Ms. Wright noted that Anoka County is at its limit for allocations to Public Service Agencies. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends adoption of the enclosed resolution to allocate the additonal $2,000 in <br />CDBG funds to the County Rehabilitation Housing Program. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #91-05-~ designating an additional $2,000 in Community <br />Development Block Grant allocations to the County Rehabilitation Housing Program. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />CC: 5/14/91 <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator <br />Acting City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
