CASE #[~ <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE REGARDING STREET LIGHTING <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the February 27, 1991 City Council meeting, a policy regarding the location and installation of <br />City street lighting was considered and adopted. That policy established a street lighting system <br />for priority intersections. A Council directive from that meeting was to amend the City Ordinances <br />consistent with the adopted policy. Attached is an ordinance amendment which would require <br />developers to install priority intersection street lighting as a Phase I Improvement. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />I recommend introducing the proposed ordinance to amend the City Code to require developers to <br />install priority intersection lighting as a Phase I Improvement. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Introduce Ordinance 4t91- to amend City Code to require developers to install priority street <br />lighting as a Phase I Improvement. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br />Acting City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />CC: 05/14/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
