Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson LeTourneau, Commissioners Riley, Kuzma, Johns, Strommen, and Tossey. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Backous. 5. HRA BUSINESS 5.01: Status of Sale of North Commons Residential Lots 1-4, Block 1, COR III City Administrator Ulrich presented the staff report and offer to Trilogy Homes to purchase lots in consideration of the HRA not following through with a previous lot sale. He reported that Trilogy Homes has indicated they are no longer interested in Lots 1-4 but remain interested in Lot 10. Staff recommends moving forward to list Lots 1-4, Block 1, COR III with CBRE and use the funds, when sold, to reach agreement with Trilogy Homes for the one lot that was not sold to them previously. Commissioner Tossey stated support for listing the property but not to use the proceeds to resolve the matter with Trilogy Homes. Instead, he felt the funds should be used for the park. City Administrator Ulrich stated that is a good point as the funds are dedicated, in part, to parks. Motion by Commissioner Kuzma, seconded by Commissioner Riley, to direct staff to list North Commons Residential Lots 1-4, Block 1, COR III, under the broker's listing agreement currently being considered. Absent: Chairperson Backous. 5.02: Discuss Letter of Intent to Purchase Property — Sunwood Drive / Ramsey Boulevard (portions were closed to the public) Executive Director LaFrance advised of the interest of a convenience retailer to purchase property in the southwest corner of the Sunwood Drive/Ramsey Boulevard intersection. The property of interest is 1.37 acres in size with an estimated valuation of $319,000. It was noted that under Minnesota Statutes 13D.05, Sub. 3, the meeting can move into closed session to discuss confidential or non-public appraisal data and acquisition negotiations. The closed session discussion will relate to a letter of intent to purchase property at Sunwood Drive/Ramsey Boulevard for future development. The closed session will be tape recorded and that tape will be maintained for a period of eight years.
