REPORT FROM PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />By: Kay McAioney, Personnel Coordinator <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />A Personnel Committee meeting was held at 6:30 p.m.on June 25, 1991 at Ramsey City <br />Hall. Present for the meeting Councilmembers Beyer and Cich. <br /> <br />Position Analysis for City Administrator: <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee reviewed the position analysis for the City Administrator <br />and recommended approval. The final copy of the proposed analysis is attached for <br />you to review. <br /> <br />City of Ramsey Organizational Chart: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder informed the Personnel Committee that the intent <br />of the new organizational chart was to not make significant changes having been with <br />the City for only three weeks, but to make minor reporting changes and review for <br />the next few months. The Personnel Committee recommended approval of the <br />proposed organization chart. Both the existing and proposed organizational charts <br />have been attached for reviewal. <br /> <br />City of Ramsey Work Rules: <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended approval of the Work Rules that have been <br />reviewed by City Administrator Schroeder and Staff. The final copy has been <br />attached for reviewal. <br /> <br />4. City of Ramsey City Code - Personnel Policy: <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee reviewed the Personnel Policy of the City Code and <br />recommended approval after a minor amendment on the Education Policy section. <br />The final copy of the proposed Personnel Policy of the City Code has been attached <br />for reviewal. An Ordinance amending the Personnel Policy has been drafted and is <br />attached. <br /> <br />City of Ramsey "Acting" Positions: <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee reviewed the memorandum by City Administrator <br />Schroeder and agreed with Mr. Schroeder's suggestion to formalize a policy with an <br />informational memo and present it at an upcoming Personnel Committee meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
