CONTRACT <br /> <br />This contract, made and entered into this 1st day of <br /> ,~gD1 by and between the Greater Anoka County <br />Au~.Hu~ane 'Soci~411 Main Street, Coon Rapids, MN 55433, <br />hereinafter referred to as 'Humane Society", and the City of <br />Ramsey , 15133 Nowthen Blvd. , Ramsey, Mn 55303 , <br />hereinafter referre~ to as "Municipality". <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Municipality is in need of animal control <br /> services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Humane Society is qualified and willing to <br />provide such an animal control program; and <br /> <br />The Municipality wishes to purchase these services <br />from the Humane Society in accordance with this <br />contract; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained <br /> herein, it is agreed and understood as follows: <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />I. TERM <br /> <br />The term of this contract shall be fromAu.qust 1 ,1991 <br /> <br />through ~qgust 1 <br />provided herein. <br /> <br />BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />The Humane Society <br />services: <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> <br />, 1992, unless terminated earlier as <br /> <br />agrees to provide the following <br /> <br />Shelter for animal drop-offs on a 24-hour <br />basis. <br /> <br />Pick-up and transport animals to the Shelter <br />during normal business hours upon request of <br />the appropriate Municipality officials. <br /> <br />Animal examinations and veterinary care as <br />required whenever staff is available. <br /> <br />Boarding for up to five (5) days. <br /> <br />Euthanasia and disposal if required. <br /> <br />Collect license fees from owners who retrieve <br />animals not previously licensed. <br /> <br />(~) <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br />
