The City Administrator shall investigate each <br />application and report any findings and recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br />7.61.06 Filing of records; inspe~om ~eeess to reeord~ <br /> <br /> Subdivisin,~ L Every organization licensed to conduct gambling in the <br />City of Ramsey shall file with the City Administrator copies of all records and <br />reports required to be filed with the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349 and the rules and reKulations <br />promulgated thereunder. The records and reports shall be filed in the office of the <br />City Administrator at the snme time they are due to the Board; <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Every gambling event in the City of Ramsey conducted by an <br />organization under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349 shall be open to inspection by <br />officers of the Ramsey Police Department; <br /> <br /> Sub&S. The City Administrator or employees of the Police <br />Department, at the direction of the City Administrator, may inspect at any <br />reasonable time, without notice or search warrant, all records of a licensed <br />organization, including g~mbting account and other bank records required by the <br />Minnesota Charitable Gambling Board to be maintained and preserved. <br /> <br />7.61.07 Fee. Upon application, the City will charge all new applicants $400 to <br />cover costs incurred investigating the application. Any unused portion of this fee <br />will be refunded to the applicant. This fee does not apply to applications for <br />renewal of licenses. <br /> <br />~i ~:orlcaI Note <br /> <br />Established by Ord. 88-10, July 26, 1988. <br /> <br /> Ord. 88-14 established §7.61.07, requiring an <br />application fee. <br /> <br />7.62 Bingo. <br /> <br />7,62.01 Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to closely reKulate and control <br />the conduct of the game of bingo and to prohibit commercialization of bingo. <br /> <br />7.62.02 Definitions. Whenever the following terms appear in this chapter, <br />they shall have the meanings assigned to them in this section. <br /> <br /> "Active membef' shall mean a member of the organization requesting <br />a license whose dues are paid for the current membership period and who has <br />been a member for at least six months. <br /> <br /> '~ingo" shall mean a game where each player has a card or board for <br />which a consideration has been paid, containing five horizontal rows of spaces, <br />with each row except the central one containing five figures. The central row has <br />four figures ~fith the word "free" marked in the center space thereof.
