Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g91-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION TO THE RECORDING TIME <br />FRAME FOR ALICIA ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #89-08-229 granting final plat <br />approval to Alicia Addition on August 22, 1989; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey City Code 1780.310C RECORDING states that failure to file the <br />plat within 120 days, unless an extension is granted by City Council, shall result in voiding the <br />plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the request of the developer, the Ramsey City Council adopted <br />Resolution #89-11-315 on November 28, 1989 granting an extension to the recording time frame <br />for Alicia Addition to June 30, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the request of the developer, the Ramsey city Council adopted <br />Resolution g90-10-332 on October 23, 1990 granting an extension to the recording time frame for <br />Alicia Addition to December 1, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Ordinance g90-24, effective January 7, <br />1991, which amended the Ramsey City Code to permit developers two years from the date of the <br />f'mal plat approval to record the plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance g90-24, the time frame for recording Alicia <br />Addition expires August 22, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a letter from Thomas Opsahl, developer of <br />Alicia Addition, dated July 28, 1991, requesting a one year extension to the recording time frame <br />for Alicia Addition in order to secure £mancing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants an extension to the recording time frame for <br />Alicia Addition to August 22, 1992. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day of August, 1991. <br /> <br />6/ <br /> <br /> <br />
