I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g91-09- RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR DATA ENTRY CLERK KAREN BUNTJE WHEREAS, Karen Buntje began employment at the City of Ramsey on February 28, 1991, as Data Entry Clerk in the Finance Department in salary grade 1, with an annual salary of $15,212; and WHEREAS, Senior Accountant Mary Gomez, Ms. Buntje's immediate supervisor, has given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal of Ms. Buntje, with agreement of Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling, and recommends retaining Ms. Buntje at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and WHEREAS, City Administrator Ryan Schroeder is in agreement with the recommendation of Ms. Gomez and Mrs. Helling; and WHEREAS, Ms. Buntje was hired at the six-month rate (90%) of salary grade 1 with the agreement that her salary would increase to the 95% rate ($16,056 annually) of salary grade 1 at the successful completion of the six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at their August 27, 1991 meeting, agreed with the recommendation of staff to retain Ms. Buntje as a regular full-time employee effective August 28, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at their August 27, 1991 meeting, approved the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to retain Ms. Buntje as a regular full-time employee, and to increase Ms. Buntje's annual salary to $16,056 effective August 28, 1991. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Karen Buntje and change in status to full-time regular employee, and to increase Ms. Buntje's annual salary to $16,056 effective August 28, 1991. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resblution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of September, 1991.
