I I I I I I I I i I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g91-09- RESOLUTION OFFERING POSITION OF PATROL OFFICER TO THOMAS LUECK WHEREAS, thirty-six (36) City of Ramsey applications were received for the Patrol Officer position; and WHEREAS, eleven (11) applicants were interviewed for the position by Personnel Coordinator Kay McAloney, Police Chief Michael Auspos, and Patrol Officers David Gustafson, James Singewald and Timothy Dwyer; and WHEREAS, four (4) finalists were interviewed by City Administrator Ryan Schroeder and the City Council on August 29, 1991; and WHEREAS, City Council recommended that the position of Patrol Officer be offered to Thomas Lueck with a starting salary of $26,545 annually subject to the one-year probationary period; and ' WHEREAS, Mr. Lueck was offered and accepted the position of Patrol Officer with a starting annual salary of $26,545, effective approximately September 18, 1991 subject to the successful completion of pre-employment testing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby confirms the offer of employment to and acceptance by Thomas Lueck for the position of Patrol Officer to begin employment approximately September 18, 1991 at $26,545 annually subject to the successful completion of pre- employment testing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of September, 1991.
