The Future of the Methane Gas Project <br /> <br />While the local governmental units will no longer be involved from an operational standpoint, <br />a Landfill Gas Agreement was entered into in 1984 that provides for the payment of fifteen <br />percent (15%) of the monthly gross revenues received by WMMI or any party authorized by <br />WMMI for the commercial marketing of landfill gas. <br /> <br /> 9% shall be paid to the County <br /> 3% shall be paid to the City of Anoka <br /> 3% shall be paid to the City of Ramsey <br />15% Total <br /> <br />During March of this year, the City did receive a check in the amount of Ninety-Nine and <br />No/100 Dollars from WMMI for 3% of commercial sales during the month of December of <br />1990. <br /> <br />Enclosed: <br /> <br />Purchase and Sale Agreement <br />Quit Claim Deed <br />Anoka Regional Landfill Board - 1989 Monthly Generation Report and Comparison <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Based upon the recommendation of the Anoka County Legal Staff and Administrator's Office <br />stating that the City of Ramsey is indemnified against all potential claim, ratify the <br />attached agreement and authorize the Quit Claim Deed. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to ratify the Purchase and Sale Agreement and authorize the Quit Claim Deed. <br /> <br />Review CheckliSt: <br /> <br />Finance Officer <br />City Engineer <br />Zoning Administrator <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 1 0/22/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
