COUNTY OF ANOKA

Paul Ix'. Ruud, H~.vhwav b.n.eim'er
1440 BUNKER LAKE BLVD NW. ANDOVER, MINNESOTA 55304 612-754-3520

October 4, 1991

Sylvia Frolik
City of Ramsey
15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW
Ramsey, MN. 55303

Re: Preliminary Plat
Glengarry

Dear Sylvia:

I have reviewed the Preliminary Plat of Glengarry to be located south of CR 64
(181st Avenue NW) and east of CR 83 (Baugh Street NW) in the City of Ramsey,
and offer the following comments:

Right-of-way depicted on the plat along CR 64 should be adequate for future
roadway needs (60 feet from centerline). Access for Lots 1 & 2, Block #1,
should be located within 30 feet of the common lot line separating the two
lots. Access for Lot 3, Block #1 should be located within 30 feet of the
eastern-most lot line. (See attached).

Calculations must be provided which show that any drainage to the County
Highway Ditch along CR 64 does not exceed the pre-existing conditions. If
drainage to the County Highway Ditch will exceed the current conditions,
an alternate drainage plan must be sought.

A permit for any work within the County Right-of-Way is required and must
be obtained prior to the commencement of construction. Contact Roy
Humbert, Contracts Administrator for the Anoka County Highway
Department, for further inrormation regarding the permit process.

Thank you for the opportunity, to comment. Feel free to contact me if you have an),
questions.

Sincerely,

Jane Pemble
Traffic Engineer

dmh/1RAMSEY

Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer
