B. 7.62 Bingo <br /> <br />Thc following paragraph shall be amende~ to read: <br /> <br />7.62.13 Use of Bingo Profits. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 3.49.2t3, <br />the yearly net profits of any licensed charitable gambling organization shall be spent m the <br />trade area of the City of Ramsey or on items or activities that will directly benefit the <br />citizens of the City of Ramsey. For purposes of this paragraph, the term trade area shall <br />mean all of that area described as the Cities of Ramsey, Elk River, Dayton, Anoka, <br />Andover and the Township of Bums. The applicant shall be required to spend ten percent <br />of its net profits derived from lawful gambling within the City of Ramsey upon a lawful <br />purpose specifically designated by the City Council. Further, purposes for which net <br />profits from any bingo occasion shall be expended are only for one or more of the <br />following purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This Ordinance becomes effective thirty (30) days after its publication subject to the City Charter <br />Section 5.07. <br /> <br />CC: 11/I2/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
