The project inspector measured the <br />actual amounts of the material used. In addition, the City excercised <br />an option to have the contractor utilize City owned rock in lieu of <br />contractor supplied rock at a reduced price. <br /> <br />Justification of Change: <br /> <br />The contract was bid on a unit price basis and the contractor should <br />be compensated accordingly. The alternative bid price for City <br />owned rock was submitted with the base bid.
