Special Note: <br /> <br />The Truth in Taxation law, M..S. 275.065 specifies certain rules for tonight's hearing: <br /> <br />As our hearing is on a regularly scheduled council meeting date,the public <br />hearing on the proposed budget and property tax levy must be dealt with <br />first; the subjects of the public hearing and regularly scheduled meeting <br />may not be intermingled and the final property tax levy for payable 1992 <br />must be adopted at the conclusion of the public hearing unless a <br />continuation hearing is scheduled and held. <br /> <br />City Council previously established December 17, 1991 as the reconvene date if one is necessary. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Budget Committee and City Staff recommends approval of the attached resolutions entitled <br />"Resolution Adopting the Proposed 1992 General Fund Operational Budget" and "Resolution <br />Approving the Proposed 1991, Payable 1992, Municipal Levy". <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Mouon to adopt Resolution #91-12-__ setting the 1992 General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />- or - <br /> <br />Morion to adopt Resolution//-91-12-__ setting the 1992 General Fund Budget as amended. <br /> <br />- and - <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution//91-12-__ setting the Payable 1992 Property Tax Levy. <br /> <br />- or- <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #91-12- setting the Payable 1992 Property Tax Levy as amended. <br /> <br />and - <br /> <br />Motion to direct the City Administrator/Clerk to transmit copies of the budget and levy resolutions <br />to the Anoka County Auditor's Office and the Minnesota Department of Revenue in compliance <br />with Truth In Taxation. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrative Coordinator <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Finance Officer <br />Personnel Coordinator <br />Public Works Supervisor <br />Police Chief <br /> <br />CC: 12/10/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
