16. <br /> <br />As a general rule: <br />A. The use of glass containers is prohibited. <br />B. Please clean up the premises and place your liner in containers provided. <br />C. Please shut off all lights and lock up the facility upon completion of the <br /> event. <br />D. Users are required to remove all materials, equipment, and furnishings <br /> privately owned by them after using the facility. <br /> <br />IV. TOURNAMENT POLICY: <br /> A tournament when permitted "excludes" the general public from actively participating on <br /> Ramsey tax supported park facilities. It gives ".exclusive use" to the tournament sponsor of <br /> City owned facilities used for said tournament and takes in dollars from participants and <br /> business to defray tournament costs or to make a profit, or for a charity. <br /> <br />The following policies, procedures, and fees apply to "Tournaments" where "exclusive" <br />use of a park or a group of park facilities is reserved by an individual or organization for a <br />specified per/od requested and approved. <br /> <br />It shall be the policy of the City of Ramsey to allow three (3) tournaments/special <br />events per month, on weekends, during tournament season from Ma5' 1st until the <br />end of organized pro~mrrfing at the discretion of the Park Department. <br /> <br />Individuals or organizations interested in sponsoring and/or conducting a <br />tournament Kill make written application to the Park Department. <br /> <br />Priority will be ~ven to Ramsey Residents as defined under (I.A.) on a first come - <br />first serve basis beginning the first working da5, in JanuaD, each year and any <br />remaining weekend dates (not to exceed three per month) available could be <br />scheduled by Non-Resident. Non-Residents requests for the remaining ava/lable <br />dates will be awarded after April 1, on a first come - first serve basis. As a general <br />rule, minimum of 45 days prior to the date of the tournament MB be acceptable. <br /> <br />As a general rule, sponsors that have conducted tournaments the pre'~dous year ma5' <br />have fLrst priority for those dates again the following year. <br /> <br />A beer license must be obtained from the City of Ramsey if beer is ~o be sold during <br />the tournament as per City Code. <br /> <br />If the tournament sponsor(s) plan to sell beer, the), (must) show proof of Dram <br />Shop Insurance before permission is granted as per requirements City Code. <br /> <br />A $100.00 deposit shall be required with the tournament application. No <br />exceptions. <br /> <br />The deposit applies to maintenance, clean up, and any other damage that may occur <br />to the facilities. If the facility is left in unsatisfacto~ condition after use, all' or pan <br />of the $100.00 deposit will ~>e used to cover necessary expenses.
