TO VAROLITE STREET <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Schroeder: <br /> <br />Maier Stewart & Associates, Inc. is pleased to provide this proposal to <br />undertake preliminary engineering and legal survey of the extension of 153rd <br />Avenue N.W. from Armstrong Blvd. N.W. (CR. 83) to Varolite & 155th Avenue <br />N.W. <br /> <br />We understand that the City intends to route 153rd Avenue N.W. along the <br />Northern edge of a wetland area then east to the intersection of Varolite <br />Street at 153rd Avenue. Providing for the possible development of building <br />lots as shown by the Exhibit 1 attached. <br /> <br />Based on our conversation with the City Engineer, we understand the <br />following services will be required: <br /> <br />TASK 1 SURVEY & DRAFTING <br /> <br />Maier Stewart & Associates (MSA) will provide preliminary survey of <br />topography and property boundries along the proposed roadway alignment. <br />Survey data would be collected using geodometer total station. MSA will <br />provide AutoCadd mapping showing contours at I foot intervals, features at <br />1:50 scale, property boundary markers and locate soil borings. <br /> <br />TASK 2 PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING <br /> <br />MSA will provide preliminary design of the 153rd Avenue N.W. roadway to <br />define centerline grade and construction limits. Design calculations, <br />horizontal and vertical curves and clear zone limitations shall reflect <br />recent updates to MSAS standards. <br /> <br />We will provide the City with base sheets showing preliminary design cross <br />sections on 200' spacing and likely construction limits. <br /> <br />1959 SLOAN PLACE, ST.
