Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #14-01-015 TH A RESOLUTION VACATING EASEMENTS ON OUTLOT D, RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 8 ADDITION WHEREAS, the Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA), hereinafter referred to as “Applicant”, has properly applied for vacation of drainage and utility easements on related to the requested approval of COR THREE on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: th Outlots D Ramsey Town Center 8 Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota (the “Subject Property”) th WHEREAS , on May 7, 2012, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch plan from Housing and Redevelopment Authority for a plat to be named COR THREE; and WHEREAS ,Section 117-588 of City Codes requires the platting of four or more lots to be processed as a major subdivision; and th WHEREAS , on June 7, 2012 the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan and recommended that the Developer proceed to the preliminary plat stage; and th WHEREAS , on June 8, 2012, the Developer submitted a preliminary plat for COR THREE to the City; and th WHEREAS , on June 15, 2012, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and recommended the City Council approve the preliminary plat COR THREE; and th WHEREAS, the Applicant submitted an application for a final plat application on June 28, 2012; and th WHEREAS, on July 10, 2012, the City Council reviewed and approved the preliminary plat for COR THREE; and th WHEREAS , the City Council approved the final plat on July 10, 2012 as required under City Code Section 117-588; and WHEREAS , the HRA has requested a revised final plat that includes only four (4) lots on the Subject Property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants an easement vacation on the Subject Property as legally described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, subject to approval, execution, and recording of the plat entitled COR THREE.
