7 �1 1 tiro <br />Summary: The EDA hosted a follow up 167/47 Node Stakeholder Meeting to discuss strategies and <br />prioritization to implement the alternatives discussed at the September 26, 2013 citizen engagement <br />process along with the 167/47 Node Statement of Goals. The concept of an indoor shooting range <br />was again discussed. There appeared to be general support for an Indoor Shooting Range at this <br />location. <br />www.citvoframsev.com / 167 <br />Summary: The City Council considered the first of two steps required to approve the request for an <br />indoor shooting range on the Subject Property. The City Council introduced (first reading) <br />Ordinance #14-01 allowing indoor shooting ranges as a conditional use in portions of the B-1 <br />General Business District. The City Council also preliminarily adopted Resolutions #14-01-005 and <br />#14-01-006 granting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to operate an Indoor Shooting Range at <br />6001 167th Ave NW, continent upon the City Council adopting Ordinance #14-01 on February 11, <br />2014 (or sometime thereafter) and said ordinance becoming effective (30 days after publication in the <br />Anoka County Union of the ordinance being adopted). <br />January 28, 2014 City Council Agenda <br />Summary: Based on feedback received from the owners of Little Me Child Care, located adjacent to <br />the Subject Property at 6013 167th Ave NW, an additional Open House was scheduled for February <br />10, 2014 in advance of the City Council considering final action on Ordinance #14-01 allowing <br />indoor shooting ranges within portions of the B-1 General Business District. <br />www.cityoframsey.com/IndoorShootingRange <br />Summary: The City Council will consider the final of two steps required to approve the request for <br />an indoor shooting range on the Subject Property. The City Council will consider adopting (second <br />reading) Ordinance #14-01 allowing indoor shooting ranges as a conditional use in portions of the <br />B-1 General Business District. If Ordinance #14-01 is adopted, it does not become effective until 30 <br />days after publication in the Anoka County Union of the ordinance being adopted.
