November 7, 2013 Planning Commission Minutes A Summary: The EDA reviewed the 167/47 Node Statement of Goals document that was created at the July 18, 2013 EDA Meeting following completion of the September 26, 2013 citizen engagement process. The EDA supported the Planning Commission language change removing language stating support for individual land uses for land uses not currently permitted in the B-1 General Business District be removed and preferred to review individual land uses when applications from Property Owners were submitted. November 14, 2013 EDA Agenda November 14, 2013 EDA Minutes Y Summary: The City Council adopted the 167/47 Node Statement of Goals as recommended by the Planning Commission and EDA. November 26, 2013 City Council Agenda November 26, 2013 City Council Minutes Summary: The official review process for Total Defense's proposed indoor shooting range began on January 9, after Total Defense submitted an Application in December, 2013. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the ordinance amending conditional uses in the B-1 General Business District and recommended approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow an Indoor Shooting Range on the Subject Property. Notification: On December 27, 2013, the required Public Hearing was properly published in the City's Official Newsletter, the Anoka County Union. In addition, as required by Minnesota Statute 462.357, the City attempted to notify all Property Owners within 350 feet of the Subject Property of the Public Hearing on January 9, 2014. Additionally, the City expanded the search radius to 700 feet. Finally, on December 31, 2013, the City hand -delivered notifications to individual tenants of retail parcels near the Subject Property.
