Mu, Parker. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - state~ they are asking for this because of a change in the State ]aw from a license to a premise permit. The permit goes until January 31, 1991; and they are in the process of negotiating with the owner. They do not know if they will have a permit after January 31. They have operated at this place for two years; however, they will not be able to continue to operate without this premise permit. ~ Dy Clch, Seconded by Reimann, to so move approval of the Motion carried unanimously. CASE #9: Easement Acquisition and Assessment Agreement for McKinley Street Extension Attorney Goodrich explained the Council previously authorized the building of McKinley Street with tax increment financing, and this request is to negotiate an easement acquistion and assessment agreement for the project. He suggesteO the easement De acquired even If the Council doesn't wish to proceed with the street extension project. MOTION by DeLuca, Seconded by Pearson, to proceed with the McKinley Street Extension and adopt Resolution (authorizing the City to enter into an easement acquisition and assessment agreement for the McKinley Street Extension). Motion carried unanimously. CASE #10: Charter Commission Appointments Mayor Relmann noted anyone wishing to apply for the Charter Commission should address their request to the District Court at the County Court House. Mr. Hart]ey suggested a resume De sent as we]]. There are not enough applicants at this time to fill all the vacancies. No Council action was required. CASE State Agreement Regarding Fishing Pier at River's Bend Park Mr. Hartley explained Dy this agreement, the City Council authorizes the expenditure of $2,000 in cost-share of the pier. MOTION Dy DeLuca, Seconded by Peterson, adopt Resolution #90-12- 374 (authorizing agreements for a Cooperative Opportunities for Resource Enhancement Program fishing pier in River's Bend Park).
