Case -//3: Request to Rezone Outlot D, Northfork from Planned Unit <br /> Development (P.U.D.) to Rural Business; Case of' Linda Obrycki and <br /> Dennis Peck <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Linda Obrvcki is in the process of purchasing Outlot D, <br />Northfork from North Fork, Inc. which was platted in conjunction with the Northfork P.U.D. <br />Documents relating to the Northfork P.U.D. refer to the outlots generally being intended for <br />commercial development, however, the property will no longer be associated with the Northfork <br />P.U.D. and Ms. Ob~cki has requested rezoning the property to Rural Business to specify exactly <br />what uses will be permitted on the subject property. The Planning and Zoning Commission <br />recommended adoption of the findings of fact as proposed and approval of the request to rezone <br />Outlot D, Northfork to Rural Business. <br /> <br />Linda Obrycld was present and showed pictures of her business and also a newspaper article about <br />her business to the City Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin asked Ms. Obryck5 if she has plans to split the parcel. <br /> <br />Ms. Obrvcki replied that she wants to keep it as is, however, at some point maybe a shopping <br />center wi'th an "Old Town" type of architecture could be built there. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Findings of <br />Fact #0289 approving the request to rezone Outlot D, Northfork from Planned Unit Development <br />to Rural Business. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Cich and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to introduce Ordinance <br />#91 -XX to rezone Outlot D, Northfork from Planned Unit Development to Rural Business. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Cich, Beyer and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Fire Fighters' Relief Association By-Laws <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich distributed copies of the Fire Fighters' Relief Association By-Laws that <br />had been re-drafted by Tom Hoxter and himself. He explained that the major driving force in <br />revising the By-laws was the Councilmembers' questions and suggestions. Attorney Goodrich <br />explained he wanted to make a word change with regard to Article IV Pension Benefit, Section 4. <br />Funding the Individual Accounts, A. Source of funds, #2. It will read as follows: Contributions <br />which may be received from the City of Ramsey pursuant to M.S.69.771 and 69.772. <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmember Hardin and seconded bv Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#9]-01-0~i 8 approving a ne,,, set of By-laws for the Rarnsey Fire Fighters' Relief Association. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes. Mayor Gilbertson. Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson, Beret and <br />Cich.
