1991 BUSINESS EXPOSITION <br />By: Carolyn Nelson, Chairperson Business Exposition <br /> <br />CASE #1 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Economic Development Commission will be overseeing the 1991 Business Exposition <br />for Ramsey businesses. The Expo this year will be tentatively scheduled for September <br />29, 1991 at the Ramsey Elementary School. <br /> <br />The members of the Sub committee will be sending a letter and survey to area businesses <br />about their concerns and ideas on how the exposition can be a bigger success. The survey <br />will be mailed to the area businesses during the early summer with the results used to plan <br />the final details of the expo. <br /> <br />All local businesses and limited area businesses will be contacted for booth rental. The <br />Economic Development Commission will also be contacting the Ramsey City Council to <br />dedicate $2,000.00 for advertising as in past years. <br /> <br />The Economic Development Commission will be placing an article in the Ramsey Resident <br />and the Anoka County Chamber Newsletter explaining when the Ramsey Business <br />Exposition will be held and how to become involved. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Make recommendations based on discussion as to ideas for the business expo and <br />encourage local businesses to become involved. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Project Manager <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />EDC 2/13/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
