' Perfor~-n. oe Standards- Signs § 9.12 <br /> <br /> Sign Area means that area within the marginal lines of the surface <br />which bears the advertisement, or in the case of messages, figures or sFmbols <br />attached directly to any part of a building, that area which is included in the <br />smallesl rectangle which can be made to circumscribe the message, figure or <br />symbol displayed thereon. The stipulated maximum sign area for a free standing <br />sign refers to a single facing. <br /> Street Frontage refers to the proximity of a parcel of land tv one or <br />more streets. An interior lot has one street frontage and a corner lot has two such <br />frontages. <br /> <br /> Temporary Sign means a sign which is erected or displayed for a <br />limited period of time. Such temporary signs shall include, but not be limited to, <br />~hose listed in §9.12.03 subdivision 16 and pennants, banners, paper and other <br />similar types of signs. <br /> <br /> Wnll Sign means any sign which is affixed to a wall of any building. <br /> <br /> Window Sign means a sign placed on a window, or any sign placed <br />within a building for the purpose of being visible from the public right-of-way. <br /> <br />9.12.03 <br />through 17 shall apply in ail districts. <br /> <br /> Sub& 1 Address sign. <br />building in all districts. <br /> <br />General provisions.
