3 <br /> <br />§ 9.12 <br /> <br />Perf ce Standards - <br /> <br />No sign shall contain any indecent or offensive picture or written <br />matter. <br /> <br />No sign other than governmental signs shall be erected or <br />temporarily placed within an)' street or public right-of-way or <br />upon any public easement. <br /> <br />A permit for a sign t~ be located within 50 feet of any street or <br />highway regnlatory or warning sign, of a~5' tra_~c sign or signal, <br />or of any crossroad or crosswalk, will be issued only if: <br /> <br />The sign will not interfere with the ability of drivers and <br />pedestrians to see any street or highway sign, or any traffic <br />sign or signal, or any crossroad or crosswalk; a_nd <br /> <br />The sign will not distract drives nor offer an)' confusion to <br />any street or highway, sign, or any traffic sign or signal. <br /> <br />The issuance of a permit ma), also be subject to conditions in <br />order to promote a more reasonable combination of signs and to <br />promote conformity with the character and uses of adjoining <br />property.
