Subd. a) Subd. e) g) h) i) 9.12.18 Subd. 1 2 A permit, but no fee, is required under this section for the following signs: Temporary signs erected by a non-profit agency. 3 No permit or fee is required under this section for the following signs: A window sign not exceeding thirty percent (30%) of the window area. On premise directional/informational signs having a sign area of four (4) feet or less. Holiday decorations temporarily displayed on traditionally accepted civic, patriotic, or religious holidays. On premise address or nameplate identification signs having a sign area of 4 square feet or less. Signs erected by a governmental unit or public school district. Memorial plaques or tablets, grave markers, statutory, or other remewmbrances of persons or events that are non-commercial in nature. Interior Signs which are fully located within the interior of any building or stadium, or within an enclosed lobby or court of any building, or in the lobby or entrance of any theatre which are intended solely for information relating to the interior operation of the building in which they are located. On-premise construction signs having a sign area of 80 square feet or less. On-premise temporary real estate signs. APPLICATION Application for permits shall be made upon forms provided by the Zoning Administrator and shall state or have attached thereto the following information: The names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the applicant, the owner of the property on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, the owner of the sign, and the person to be erecting or affixing the sign. Type of sign. Type of construction materials to be used. Location of building, structure or lot to which, or upon which, the sign is to be attached or erected. Sign Ord. Rev.
