Highway 10 Access Planning Study Open House Scheduled for February 26, 2014 at Greenhaven Golf
Course in Anoka
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT), in partnership with Anoka County, has initiated a study in the
cities of Ramsey and Anoka to identify lower -cost alternatives that can be implemented in the near -term that begin to address
safety and operational issues. An Open House has been scheduled for public input.
Wednesday, February 26, 2014
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Greenhaven Golf Course
2800 Greenhaven Road
Anoka, MN 55303
The project team has attempted to reach out to corridor business owners and stakeholders through focused meetings.
Attendance at these stakeholder meetings has been low, so it will be important to encourage these stakeholders to attend this
Open House. A number of the alternatives that will be presented will be new information to these stakeholders, with varying
degrees of impacts to access and land use, so early feedback will be critical to the success of this study and economic
development goals of the community. For more information, visit www.cityoframsey.com/Highwayl0.
What Amenities Should the City Plan For in the Future Lake Feature in The COR?
Over the past several years, the City has been refining the development plan for the area known as The COR. The COR is a
mixed -use development that is home to the Northstar Commuter Rail — Ramsey Station.
The Development Plan for The COR includes a future lake feature
anticipated to include both active and passive recreational
opportunities as well as small-scale private development. The City is
looking for your help in discussing potential improvements and
amenities of this area of The COR. What recreation opportunities
should be studied further? What adjacent uses would help compliment
this feature? Your input is important as we begin the first stages of this
small area planning and design.
Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 6:00 p.m.
Ramsey Municipal Center, Alexander Ramsey Room
For more information, please visit:
www. cityo fram s ey. c o m /LakeRamsey
Contact: Mark Riverblood, Parks and Assistant Public Works
Superintendent at mriverblood@ci.ramsey.mn.us or 763-433-9853.
