11. That the hives would be located approximately seventy (70) feet from the nearest property <br />boundary and outside any drainage and utility easement. <br />12. That the honeybee colonies will be housed in new Langstroth style removable frame <br />equipment. <br />13. That a separate water source, which would consist of a bucket partially filled with water <br />and include landing space for the honeybees, will be provided to ensure that there is a <br />constant supply of water for the hives. <br />14. That the Applicant is participating in the University of Minnesota Bee Squad's Hive to <br />Bottle program, which is under the purview of the University of Minnesota's Bee Lab. <br />15. That in conjunction with the Bee Squad, the colonies will be managed to prevent swarming <br />and to promote honeybee health by removing unused comb and following acceptable <br />practices to prevent robbing. <br />16. That if present, surplus honey will be harvested regularly throughout the summer and fall <br />months. <br />17. That a Bee Squad Beekeeper will inspect the colony every seven (7) to fourteen (14) days <br />from May through October, 2014, and periodically through the winter months as deemed <br />necessary. <br />18. That should either colony exhibit unusually aggressive characteristics by stinging or <br />attempting to sting without due provocation, or exhibit an unusual disposition towards <br />swarming, the Applicant shall requeen the colony and the new queen shall be selected from <br />stock bred for gentleness and non -swarming characteristics. <br />19. That the property owners of the lots immediately adjacent to the Subject Property to the <br />north and south have both submitted statements supporting the Applicant's request for a <br />conditional use permit. <br />20. That the proposed use will/will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to <br />persons residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br />21. That the proposed use will/will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment, or <br />market value of any surrounding property. <br />22. That the proposed use will/will not be hazardous or disturbing to existing neighboring uses. <br />23. That the proposed use will/will not be served adequately by public facilities and services <br />such as highways and streets. <br />24.
