Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #14-03-060 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE TWO PATROL OFFICERS <br />WHEREAS, as per the adopted budget and strategic plan, staff conducted a <br />recruitment for two fulltime Patrol Officers; and <br />WHEREAS, an internal and external recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Jacob Hinnenkamp and another candidate whose name will be <br />provided at the City Council meeting have been selected as the top candidates for the <br />positions; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background investigations and <br />pre -employment testing and is recommending that Mr. Jacob Hinnenkamp and another <br />candidate whose name will be provided at the City Council meeting be hired as fulltime <br />Patrol Officers at $22.53 per hour, effective on or near March 27-28, 2014. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #14-03-060 to hire Mr. Jacob Hinnenkamp and <br />another candidate whose name will be provided at the City Council meeting as <br />fulltime Patrol Officers $22.53 per hour, effective on or near March 27-28, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the llth day of March, 2014. <br />
