General Information <br />The City Administrator is charged with the management and control of public improvement <br />projects. The City expects that this RFP and selection process will result in the selection of a <br />Consultant and affiliated team to be retained in a professional capacity for the development and <br />execution of the professional services described above. <br />This RFP solicitation is issued by the Parks & Asst. Public Works Superintendent pursuant to <br />the authority vested by the City Administrator and Public Works Superintendent. As its best <br />interests may appear, the Parks & Asst. Public Works Superintendent reserves the right to <br />terminate, modify or suspend the process, reject any or all submittals, modify the terms and <br />conditions of this selection process and/or waive informalities in any submission. <br />This project will be jointly administered by: The Parks & Asst. Public Works Superintendent <br />and Community Development Manager of the City of Ramsey <br />A. RFP Administration: <br />The Parks & Asst. Public Works Superintendent, Mark Riverblood shall serve in the <br />capacity of administrator for this selection process and will be responsible for <br />coordination of the procedures and rules specified in this RFP, managing this process <br />and all other matters related to this process. In conducting the process in a fair and <br />equitable manner, the administrator will serve as the primary intermediary between the <br />design professionals, the City, and the members of the Selection Committee. All <br />inquiries and questions regarding this RFP shall be directed to Mark Riverblood in <br />writing via email at mriverblood@ci.ramsey.mn.us. Any applicant that contacts any <br />member of the Selection Committee, other the designated contact from the date of <br />issuance of the RFP and prior to the completion of the selection process, for the purpose <br />of influencing that person may be disqualified from further participation in the selection <br />process, at the administrator's sole discretion. <br />B. City Representative(s): The City representatives (Project Manager) for this project will be <br />shared as the scope of work dictates between Mark Riverblood, Parks & Asst. Public <br />Works Superintendent and Timothy Gladhill, Community Development Manager. <br />Together, they are authorized to administer the Professional Services Agreement and <br />direct and approve all services provided and work performed thereunder. <br />C. Funds: <br />The estimated cost of the final design project for the Mississippi Skyway is $100,000, <br />including chargeable Staff time to this project.
