Saint Francis Boulevard (Trunk Highway 47) and 167th Ave NW —AS WELL AS- a request for a Conditional Use Permit for an <br />Indoor Shooting Range at 6001 167th Ave NW (former grocery store). The City Council is expected to consider introducing the <br />ordinance and providing a contingent approval of the Conditional Use Permit on January 28, 2014. <br />McDonald's <br />Staff from the City's Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA), current property owner, continue to work towards a real <br />estate closing for the approved McDonald's located at the south east intersection of Armstrong Boulevard (County Road 83) <br />and Sunwood Drive. McDonald's has requested temporary access drive lighting until the adjacent two (2) parcels are developed. <br />McDonald's has indicated that construction could commence this spring, once weather and soil conditions permit. <br />Molin Concrete <br />The City has completed Building Permit Review on Molin Concrete, a 10,000 square foot expansion approved for 6820 143rd <br />Ave NW. Molin Concrete has indicated they plan to commence construction in spring of 2014 due to weather conditions. <br />Previously, the owner had desire to commence construction in fall of 2013. <br />Brookfield 4th Addition <br />The Developer of Brookfield 4th Addition, Brookfield Land, LLC (Capstone Homes) continues to work towards recording the <br />Plat in March to being construction this spring. The Developer is currently securing bids and quotes to construct the required <br />public infrastructure. Brookfield 4th Addition is a next phase of the existing Brookfield Addition located adjacent to Nowthen <br />Boulevard (County Road 5), north of 167th Ave NW. <br />What Amenities Should the City Plan For in the Future Lake Feature in The COR? <br />Over the past several years, the City has been refining the development plan for the area known as The COR. The COR is a <br />mixed -use development that is home to the Northstar Commuter Rail — Ramsey Station. <br />The Development Plan for The COR includes a future lake feature <br />anticipated to include both active and passive recreational <br />opportunities as well as small-scale private development. The City is <br />looking for your help in discussing potential improvements and <br />amenities of this area of The COR. What recreation opportunities <br />should be studied further? What adjacent uses would help compliment <br />this feature?
