§ 9.10 Perfomnance Standards <br /> <br /> Subd. r~ Air PoUution (Fly ash, dust, f~,,,,es, vapors, gasses, etc.): <br />Any emission which can cause any damage to health, animals, or vegetation, or <br />other form~ of property, or which can cause any excessive soiling at any point, and <br />in no event any emission of any solid or liquid particles in concentrations exceeding <br />0.3 grains per cubic foot of the conveying gas or air at any point. For measurement <br />of the amount of particles in gasses resulting from combustion, standard <br />corrections shall be applied to a stick temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit and <br />50% excess air. <br /> <br /> SubcL 6. Wastes: All wastes shall be disposed of in a manner that is <br />not dangerous to pubhc health and safety and in accordance with the City's sewer <br />disposal system ordinance. Wastes may not accumulate on the site, except where <br />fully screened from adjacent properties. Wastes discharges into a public sewer <br />system shall not exceed limits established by the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission, <br /> <br /> SubiL 7. Glare: Any lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking <br />area, siEn, or other structure, shall be arranged so as to deflect light, away from <br />adjoining residentisJ districts or from public streets. <br /> <br />9.11.05 Driveway~ <br /> <br />No poured concrete driveway shall project beyond the properW <br />line into a street right-of-way where curb, gutter, and permanent <br />surfacing is not in place. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />Bituminous driveways adjacent to unsurfaced roadways shall be <br />terminated one foot from the edge of travelled roadway. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Bituminous driveways on surfaced roadways may extend to and <br />adjoin the ex~sting bituminous. <br /> <br />Vrhere necessaw, the lot owner shall install a culvert of adequate <br />size, as determined by the building official. All culverts shall be a <br />mln~murn of 15 inches in diameter, <br /> <br />All driveways shall maintain at least a 3 foot side yard from <br />adjacent property lines. <br /> <br />No residential driveway access shall be allowed onto designated <br />collector or thoroughfare streets. <br /> <br />No residential driveway shall exceed 20 feet in ~Sdth at the point <br />where it adjoins the street. <br /> <br />9.11.09 Screening. Vrnere screening is required, it shall consist of plantings <br />and landscaping, or a combination of plantings, landscaping and fencing, as <br />approved by the Planning Commission. All plantings and fencing shall be placed a <br />mirfimnm of 20 feet from the street. However, in no event shall the plant/ngs or <br />fencing be placed on the public right-of-way.
