CONSIDER INCREASING FEE FOR AGENT OF RECORD <br />FOR PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE <br /> By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Thc City of Ramsey has had an agreement with T.C. Field since 1997 for agent of record services for <br />property and casualty insurance services. The fee established for these services in 1997 was $3000. <br />Since that time the tee has been increased to the cun'ent rate of $3500. The fee has not been adjusted <br />since 2001. T. C. Field has requested an increase for the 2004 agreement year. If Council wishes to <br />consider a fee increase lot' T. C. Field, staff would recommend an increase of $250 which would reflect <br />approximately a 3% increase for the past two years. The Insurance Service Agreement is attached for <br />Council revicw. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staffrecolnmcnds an increase of $250 to the fee to T. C. Field for agent of record services for <br />property/casualty insurance.
