City Planner Anderson discussed the parking requirements for each tenant. <br />Commissioner Brauer questioned if the property to the east could be used for additional parking. <br />City Planner Anderson commented this would be allowed, but would be considered an expansion <br />of the conditional use and would require additional review by the City. <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Bauer, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Resolution #14-03-046 adopting Findings of Fact #0925 related to a request for a <br />Conditional Use Permit for motor vehicle sales at 7850 Riverdale Drive NW. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Bauer, Brauer, <br />Field, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: Maul. <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Nosan, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Resolution #14-03-047 approving a Conditional Use Permit for motor vehicle <br />sales at 7850 Riverdale Drive NW contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter <br />dated February 28, 2014. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Nosan, Bauer, <br />Brauer, and Field. Voting No: None. Absent: Maul. <br />5.04: Discussion Only: Receive Update on Armstrong West: Future Business Park <br />Component and Consider Co encing a Comprehensive Plan Amendment Process <br />Prese <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill provided the Commission with a brief update on <br />Armstrong West. He discussed the status of the development of a future business park. He <br />noted this was a high priority of the Economic Development Authority. He explained that staff <br />has been working diligently to analyze potential locations for a business park and Armstrong <br />Boulevard was found to be the most appropriate location. He commented that if this were to <br />proceed, portions of this development scenario would require an amendment to the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan. He requested comment from the Commission on this matter. <br />Commission Business <br />Commissioner Field asked if a bridge from Dayton to Ramsey would be included in this project. <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill commented this had been discussed and would be <br />investigated further. He reported Armstrong Boulevard would handle a connection.
