Development Services Manager Gladhill commented this had been discussed and would be <br />investigated further. He reported Armstrong Boulevard would handle a connection. However, <br />there was no determination on the river crossing at this time. <br />5.05: Discussion Only: Receive Draft of Metropolitan Council Regional Development <br />Framework and Preliminary Forecasts <br />Presentation <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill distributed the draft Metropolitan Council Regional <br />Development Framework and Preliminary Forecasts to the Commission. He explained this item <br />would be further discussed at the April 3, 2014 Planning Commission meeting. He reported the <br />City has scheduled another citizen engagement meeting for March 20, 2014 to review the City's <br />Future Land Use Map as well as the vision, values and goals statement that will serve as the <br />foundation for the City's review of the Regional Development Framework, Regional System <br />Plans, and eventual update to the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br />5.06: Staff Update <br />The Staff Update was noted. <br />Commissioner Brauer and Commissioner VanScoy commended staff on their efforts with regard <br />to the Total Defense request. <br />5.07: Zoning Bulletins <br />Zoning Bulletins were noted. <br />6.
