REQUEST FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT: <br />We, the undersigned, petition the City of Ramsey City Council (and the City of Ramsey Planing and <br />Zoning Commission) to amend the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation in the <br />comprehensive Plan from "Places to Work" to "Single Family" for the lots that are on the North side of <br />Rivlyn Avenue Northwest. <br />II. OPPOSITION TO REZONING: <br />In addition, we oppose the pending action to rezone the subject properties from R -1 to E -1. <br />To change the use designation to "Employment District", as proposed in correspondence dated April <br />18, 2003 and others, makes the Insurance of our property more restrictive and the sale of our property, <br />if we ever should decide to sell, more restrictive and difficult to complete. <br />This change in land use designation would then return these properties to the same land usage <br />designation as the Tots on the South side of Rivlyn Avenue Northwest (along the Mississippi River). <br />We feel that these Tots have been miss designated as commercial, light industrial and others but have <br />always had single family homes and single family type homes. <br />
